3 Select "Timer," then press ENTER. The setting screen appears. 4 Set the Play Timer as follows. "On time" and "Off time" Set the start time and stop time. "AM"/"PM" can be selected only when you have selected the 12-hour time display format in the clock setting (page 30). "Function" Set the function for sound source. If you have selected tuner function, you can select the tuner band ("FM" or "AM") and a preset number in each setting box accordingly. "Timer" Select "ON" to turn on the Play Timer. 5 Select "SET," then press ENTER to enter the settings. 6 Press  to turn off the system. The system turns on 30 seconds before the preset time. If the system is on at the preset time, the Play Timer will not be activated. Do not operate the system from the time the system turns on until the playback starts. To check the Play Timer setting Display the "Timer" menu in the "Settings." Current setting of the Play Timer is shown at right. To change the Play Timer setting Start over from step 1. To cancel the Play Timer Repeat the procedure and select "OFF" for "Timer" in step 4. Notes for the iPod user  Make sure the iPod is not playing when using the Play Timer.  The Play Timer may not be activated depending on the status of the connected iPod. To check the Play Timer setting
Display the “Timer” menu in the
“Settings.” Current setting of the Play
Timer is shown at right.
To change the Play Timer setting
Start over from step 1.
To cancel the Play Timer
Repeat the procedure and select “OFF”
for “Timer” in step 4.
Notes for the iPod user
Make sure the iPod is not playing when using
the Play Timer.
°e Play Timer may not be activated
depending on the status of the connected
iPod.
