To change the AM tuning interval (except for European and Saudi Arabian models) The AM tuning interval is factory-preset to 9 kHz (or 10 kHz for some areas). Follow the steps below when you change the AM tuning interval. Note that all the AM preset stations are erased when you change the AM tuning interval. 1 Select "Settings" from the home menu, then press ENTER. 2 Select "AM Step change," then press ENTER. The setting screen appears. 3 Press / repeatedly to select "9 kHz" or "10 kHz," then press ENTER. To turn off the automatic standby function This system is equipped with an automatic standby function. With this function, the system enters standby mode automatically after about 30 minutes when there is no operation, or when playback ends on the connected device. By default, the automatic standby function is turned on. You can turn off the automatic standby mode from the home menu. 1 Select "Settings" from the home menu, then press ENTER. 2 Select "Auto Standby," then press ENTER. The setting screen appears. 3 Press / repeatedly to select "OFF," then press ENTER. To turn on the function, repeat the procedure and select "ON" for "Auto Standby."
