Do not allow the detergent to dry. After applying detergent: ► Switch off the pressure washer, @ 11.2. ► Relieve system pressure. ► Lock the spray gun trigger. ► Remove the detergent spray set. ► Re-attach the fan-jet nozzle or rotary-jet nozzle. ► Spray the surface until it is clean and any remaining detergent is washed away. ► When rinsing off detergent, start at the top of the surface and work down. 12.4 Cleaning WARNING To reduce the risk of personal injury, never work with the pressure washer in the rain, @ 5.5. Depending on the application, the following nozzles may be used: - Fan-jet nozzle: The fan-jet nozzle is designed for cleaning larger areas. - Rotary-jet nozzle: The rotary nozzle is designed for removing stubborn dirt. ► If you want to remove stubborn dirt, reduce the distance between the nozzle and the surface. ► If you want to remove dirt from painted, wooden or other potentially sensitive surfaces, increase the distance between the nozzle and the surface. To adjust the fan jet nozzle: WARNING To reduce the risk of injury from high-pressure spray, always switch off the pressure washer, relieve any remaining pressure in the system and lock the spray gun trigger before attempting to insert, adjust or remove the spray nozzle. ► Switch off the pressure washer. ► Relieve system pressure. ► Lock the spray gun trigger. 26 0458-620-8621-A
