Add a Recording Storage In Surveillance Station, you can use existing shared folders or add new encrypted folders as recording storages. The following section will take creating an encrypted folder as an example: 1 Click Add > Add Storage. 2 Select Add shared folder and click Next. 3 Enter a Name and Description, and select a Location from the drop-down menu. 4 If you wish to configure the maximum storage size of the recording space, tick the checkbox and specify the maximum size limit. 5 If you wish to keep the shared folder used as the recording storage from appearing under "Network" in Windows File Explorer, tick Hide this shared folder in "My Network Places". 6 Click Next to go to the Advanced page. 7 Tick Encrypt this shared folder and set the encryption key. 8 Click Finish to complete. 37 Chapter 5: Manage Video Recordings
