4.18 Display Mask 4 Replacement Procedures 4.18 Display Mask Removing the Display Mask To remove the display mask, first remove the display assembly as described earlier, then follow the steps below: 1. Remove four M2.5x6 black screws securing the display mask. Figure 4-38 Removing the display mask screws 2. Carefully insert your fingers or use a thin tool into the gap between the display mask and the LCD cover and gently pry open each side of the display mask to remove it. Installing the Display Mask To install the display mask, follow the steps below and refer to the figures in the preceding section. 1. Seat the display mask and secure the snaps on each side. 2. 4.18 Display Mask
Removing the Display Mask
To remove the display mask, first remove the display assembly as described earlier, then
follow the steps below:
1.
Remove four M2.5x6 black screws securing the display mask.

Carefully insert your fingers or use a thin tool into the gap between the display mask and
the LCD cover and gently pry open each side of the display mask to remove it.
Installing the Display Mask
To install the display mask, follow the steps below and refer to the figures in the preceding
section.
1.
Seat the display mask and secure the snaps on each side.
2.
Secure the display mask with four black M2.5x6 screws.
