3.24 Repair initial config set 3 Tests and Diagnostics 3.24 Repair initial config set The following message will appear: ######### H/W initial information setting tool VerX.XX ##### * * * 1 Initial configuration * * 2 Region write * * 8 System configuration display * * 9 E2PROM test (MAC/GUIDE/DMI) * * * .... Press test number[1,2,8,9] ? Press the number you want to test and press Enter. Subtest 01 Initial configuration This subtest executes the following items and displays the result. - Setting CPU settable - Setting Micro code - Setting EHSS - Inputting DMI information and writing it (Flash-ROM text) (Writes the text adding time stamp to DMI information being written) - Setting HWSC - Setting UUID When any abnormal is detected, it waits for any key input. (If the problem is solved, execute it again) To make all the setting effective, turns off the power. Subtest 02 Region write This subtest sets the DVD region code. (Executing or not is selectable.) This subtest judges the destination based on the DMI information of the computer and sets the appropriate region code to the DVD drive. If the region code has been already written, this subtest is finished without setting. Subtest 08 System configuration display This subtest displays System configuration.
