Setting up your computer 45 NOTE To register online, your computer must be connected to the Internet via a voice-grade telephone line or a Local-AreaNetwork (LAN). A window will display asking if you wish to register with Toshiba and Microsoft. 5 Click Yes to register, or No to exit the process. NOTE If you click No, you may register with Toshiba by clicking the Register with Toshiba icon on the desktop. 6 If you selected Yes in step 5, enter your personal information in the registration window. A window will display the message, "Who will use this computer?" 7 Enter your name and click Next to complete the process. A window will display the message, "Thank you." 8 Click Finish to continue. Your computer restarts automatically. Registering your computer with Toshiba Product registration is strongly recommended, and allows Toshiba to send Customer periodic updates, announcements, and special offers applicable to the product. Product registration can be completed during the initial start up process of your computer. If you opt not to register at that time, you can either double-click the icon on your desktop or go to the Toshiba web site at www.register.toshiba.com. Customer failure to complete Product Registration will not diminish Customer rights under this limited Warranty.
