4 Replacement Procedures Touch pad board SUMI card Top cover latch 4.9 Top Cover M2.5x4 black flat head screw CN11 Figure 4-18 Removing the top cover Installing the Top Cover Install the top cover with the display assembly according to the following procedures and Figures 4-17, 4-18. 1. Seat the top cover, adjusting its position. 2. Secure the following 6 latches on the top cover, in that order: - Three left latches - Three right latches - One front latch 3. Secure the top cover with one M2.5x4 black flat head screw. 4. Connect the touch pad board flat cables CN11 on the system board. 5. Installing the Top Cover
Install the top cover with the display assembly according to the following procedures and
Figures 4-17, 4-18.
1.
Seat the top cover, adjusting its position.
2.
Secure the following 6 latches on the top cover, in that order:
- Three left latches
- Three right latches
- One front latch
3.
Secure the top cover with one M2.5x4 black flat head screw.
4.
Connect the touch pad board flat cables CN11 on the system board.
5.
Turn the computer upside down and secure it with the following 12 screws:
- Twelve M2.5x6 black bind screws.
