Monitoring of power condition Power conditions The computer's operating capability and battery charge status are affected by different power conditions, including whether an AC adaptor is connected and what the charge level is for that battery. Power on Power off (no operation) AC adaptor Battery fully connected charged • Operates • No charge • LED: Battery green DC IN green • No charge • LED: Battery green DC IN green Battery partially charged or no charge • Operates • Charge • LED: Battery orange DC IN green • Quick charge • LED: Battery orange DC IN green AC adaptor not connected Remaining battery capacity is above low battery trigger point • Operates • LED: Battery off DC IN off Remaining battery capacity is below low battery trigger point • Operates • LED: Battery flashes orange DC IN off Remaining battery capacity is exhausted Computer shuts down Battery indicator Check the Battery indicator to determine the status of the battery pack. The following indicator lights indicate the battery status: Flashing orange The battery charge is low, the AC adaptor must be connected in order to recharge the battery. User's Manual 3-14
