To prevent the programming of your scanner, follow these steps: 1. Set the switch labeled ENTER LOCK on the rear panel of your scanner to the ON position. 2. When lock is set, the e and U keys are disabled. If these keys are pressed, an error message flashes for two seconds, and your scanner resets. 3. To return to normal operation, set the switch to the OFF position. 20
