4. If a CTCSS tone is found, the tone begins flashing in the display. 5. If you want to program tones for several frequencies during your search, follow these steps: After you program a frequency and a CTCSS tone into a channel, the CTCSS Tone Search Mode is canceled. To activate the CTCSS Tone Search Mode again, press and hold K until you hear two short beeps. If you decide to cancel the CTCSS Tone Search Mode while you are searching for frequencies, press and hold K until you hear two short beeps and the CTCSS indicator turns off. Changing a CTCSS Tone 1.
