Low Battery Alerts When disarming the system using a remote control with a low battery the siren will emit one additional chirp as an alert. If confirmation chirps are programmed off, the system will still emit one chirp as an alert when disarming. The Responder HD remote control also interrupts each Status screen output and plays the LOW BATTERY ON REMOTE screen with several alert beeps. Important To preserve power at critically low battery levels the HD remote disables the color display, stops receiving messages from the system, and only performs basic commands. The beeps and blue transmit LED continues to operate while performing basic commands until the battery is charged. Battery Life The Responder HD remote control has many features that make it one of the most unique remote controls on the market today, including superior long range communication with the system. The default feature settings provide for excellent battery charge duration.
