VIZIO® VP505XVT1A User Manual Preparing Your PLASMA FHDTV for Wall Mounting To remove the stand base 1. Unplug the power cord and all cables from your VIZIO VP505XVT1A. 2. Place the TV face down on a soft and flat surface (blanket, foam, cloth, etc) to prevent any damage to the TV. 3. Remove the cover on the stand. 4. Remove the six (6) screws holding the base to the TV. 5. Carefully remove the stand base. Note: It is recommended to place the screws back into place for future use; in case that the base needs to be attached back to the TV. Now the VP505XVT1A can fit securely to a mount (sold separately) by utilizing the mounting holes in the center of the back panel of the TV. Please make sure to read the instructions for your specific mount to properly hang the VP505XVT1A. The pitch of the mounting holes is 600mm horizontally and 200mm vertically. The screw type required is metric M8, 20mm long, 1.25mm pitch. The length of the screws will depend on the thickness of the brackets being attached to the TV. VIZIO mount brackets come with different length screws. Preparing Your PLASMA FHDTV for Wall Mounting
To remove the stand base
1.
Unplug the power cord and all cables from your VIZIO VP505XVT1A.
2.
Place the TV face down on a soft and flat surface (blanket, foam, cloth, etc) to prevent any
damage to the TV.
3.
Remove the cover on the stand.
4.
Remove the six (6) screws holding the
base to the TV.
5.
Carefully remove the stand base.
Note:
It is recommended to place the screws
back into place for future use; in case that the
base needs to be attached back to the TV.
Now the VP505XVT1A can fit securely to a mount (sold separately) by utilizing the mounting holes in the
center of the back panel of the TV. Please make
sure to read the instructions for your specific mount
to properly hang the VP505XVT1A.
