Appendix Troubleshooting No sound is produced by your CP5 or CP50 when a sequence is played on a connected computer or MIDI device. Confirm that the channel being used by the computer to transmit MIDI data matches the stage piano's receive channel. Press the [UTILITY] button Jump to Page 5 by pressing the [5] button Turn Knob 1 to set the RcvCh parameter appropriately. Transmission and reception of data using the Bulk Dump function is not working. If you are having trouble transmitting data, ensure that the stage piano's device number setting matches the device number of the connected MIDI device. Press the [UTILITY] button Jump to Page 6 by pressing the [6] button Turn Knob 1 to set the DevNo. parameter appropriately. If you are having trouble receiving data, ensure that the device number setting is identical to that used when sending the data. Press the [UTILITY] button Jump to Page 6 by pressing the [6] button Turn Knob 1 to set the DevNo. parameter appropriately Press the [STORE] button to store this setting (page 51). Data cannot be saved on a USB flash-memory device. Ensure that the USB flash-memory device is not write protected. Ensure that the USB flash-memory device is correctly formatted. Press the [FILE] button Jump to Page 2 by pressing the [2] button Press Knob 2 to format the USB flash-memory device. (See the Reference Manual pdf document for more details.) Ensure that you are using a type of USB flash-memory device supported by your CP5 or CP50 (page 25). Ensure that the USB flash-memory device is not connected via a USB hub.
