Styles and Riyaz Patterns Riyaz Variations Each Riyaz features five Variations A-E via the Tabla sound. These five variations can be alternated via the [A]-[E] buttons during playback, allowing you to add dynamic variations to the performance. In addition, four phrase variations via the Tanpura sound are provided commonly for all the Riyaz patterns. These four variations can be alternated via the TANPURA 1-4 buttons. Unlike the Styles, the Riyaz patterns do not have the variations dedicated to the beginning or ending of the Song, such as Intro and Ending. The Riyaz playback will continue until stopped manually. Changing the Tempo A Style or Riyaz can be played at any tempo you desire-fast or slow-and the tempo can be changed precisely. 1 Press the [TEMPO/TAP] button to call up the Tempo value in the display.
