11. Enable DHCP or Static IP:  To use DHCP Select Obtain an IP Address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically. Then click OK. The ZyXEL VFG6005 Series VPN Firewall Gateway will now assign an IP address to your computer.  To use Static IP Select Use the following IP address and enter the followings. IP address: 192.168.10.x (x could be from 2 ~ 254) Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 Default gateway: 192.168.10.1 Now select Use the following DNS server addresses and enter the following. Preferred DNS server: 192.168.10.1 Then click OK. 12. You have now finished the network settings of your computer. Please go to Chapter 4 to continue. 10

Enable DHCP or Static IP:
To use DHCP
Select Obtain an IP Address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically.
Then click OK. The ZyXEL VFG6005 Series VPN Firewall Gateway will now assign an IP address to your computer.
To use Static IP
Select Use the following IP address and enter the followings.
IP address: 192.168.10.x
(x could be from 2 ~ 254)
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.10.1
Now select Use the following DNS server addresses and enter the following. Preferred DNS server: 192.168.10.1
Then click OK.
