Operating the computer when parts are missing may be dangerous and may damage your computer. Carrying your iMac Before you lift or reposition your iMac, shut it down and disconnect all cables and cords connected to it. To lift or move your iMac, hold the sides of the computer. Using connectors and ports Never force a connector into a port.
