Note When you are using Legal size paper, press and hold the universal guide release button (1) as you slide out the front of the paper tray. Check that the paper is flat in the tray. 2 1 d Fan the stack of paper well to avoid paper jams and misfeeds. IMPORTANT Be careful not to push the paper in too far; it may lift at the back of the tray and cause paper feed problems. Note When there are only a few sheets of paper left in the paper tray, the machine may start to misfeed. Load at least 10 sheets of paper into the paper tray. Note Always make sure that the paper is not curled or wrinkled. 11
