However, if the brightness of the LCD or viewfinder display starts to flicker, make sure the camera is set to auto mode and select the 1/100 shutter speed. Guidelines for shooting using high shutter speeds • When shooting with a shutter speed of 1/1000 or higher, do not shoot the sun directly.
