2-3 Ease of Operation -Computer connection with Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP) support (5 new function) Because the PowerShot G3 supports PTP, a standard protocol, driver-less image communications with computers are possible when combined with recent operating systems (Windows XP or Mac OS X (version 10.1/10.2)). Futhermore computer-controlled camera functions have been added to the PowerShot G5 (Additional functions are shown below in bold). -View images on the camera using the PC -Transfer images from the camera to a PC -Delete images on the camera using the PC -Remote Capture (Shooting from PC) -Transfer images from the PC to the camera -My Camera function settings -Format the CF card -Settings such as the "Date" and "owner" 1-11
