4-12 Compaq ProLiant CL380 Software User Guide Physical Drives Window The Physical Drives window (Figure 4-9) provides detailed information about the physical drives you have configured in your storage subsystem. Figure 4-9. Physical Drives window The CR3500 Configuration Utility uses icons to indicate the status of the disks in the disk window. The physical drive states and corresponding icons are shown in Table 4-5. Drive State Icon Table 4-5 Physical Drive States State Good Reconstructing Spare Failed Description Physical drive is operating normally as part of a logical drive. Reconstruction data is being written to this physical drive. Physical drive is available to replace a failed physical drive that is a group member. Physical drive is not available but is installed. Available Physical drive is available for use in a logical drive or as a spare.
