Section 3 - Configuration Tools Admin The DCS-3420 is designed without any passwords by default. This allows the ability to access the DCS-3420 (including the Configuration) by anyone as long as the IP address is known. It is recommended that you enter a password to restrict others from accessing your camera. Type a password in the Admin Password field to enable protection, and then confirm the password in Confirm Password field. This password is used to identify the administrator. You can add accounts with User name and User Password for other users in the Add user section. 20 user accounts can be added in maximum. Guest Account: This option allows a user to connect to a camera with view-only privileges. User name is demo. No password is required.
