Close the display and turn the computer over. 3. Remove the bottom of the base assembly (see Removing the Bottom of the Base Assembly). 4. Remove the hinge covers (see Removing the Hinge Covers). 5. Remove the palm rest assembly (Removing the Palm Rest Assembly). 6. If a card is in the cage, remove the card. 7. Remove the three M2 x 3 screws. 8. Follow the procedures in

Close the display and turn the computer over.
3.
Remove the bottom of the base assembly (see
Removing the Bottom of the Base Assembly
).
4.
Remove the hinge covers (see
Removing the Hinge Covers
).
5.
Remove the palm rest assembly (
Removing the Palm Rest Assembly
).
6.
If a card is in the cage, remove the card.
7.
Remove the three M2 x 3 screws.
8.
Push the carrier to one side to release it from the system board, then pull the carrier in the opposite direction to remove the carrier.
