Compass Page During active navigation, the Compass Page guides you to your destination with a graphic compass and a bearing pointer. When the pointer is pointing straight up, you are heading directly to your destination. Rotating compass ring Course to steer indicator Compass arrow Data fields Compass Page in Marine Mode Marine Mode Pages> Compass Page If the arrow points up, you are going directly to the waypoint. If the arrow points any direction other than up, turn toward the arrow until it points up, and then continue in that direction. Note: You must be moving for the compass to accurately update and show your heading. Turning On the Compass Page The Compass Page is on by default in Marine Mode but off by default in Automotive Mode. To show the Compass Page in Automotive Mode: 1. Highlight the Display tab on the Main Menu. 2. Highlight the Compass Page field, and press Enter. 3. Select On, and press Enter. The middle of the page features a rotating compass ring that shows your course over ground (track) while you are moving. Your present course over ground is indicated at the top of the compass ring. The direction of the destination (bearing) relative to the course over ground is indicated by an arrow in the middle of the compass ring and a course to steer "bug" on the outside of the compass ring. Compass Page
During active navigation, the Compass Page guides you to your
destination with a graphic compass and a bearing pointer. When
the pointer is pointing straight up, you are heading directly to your
destination.

The middle of the page features a rotating compass ring that shows
your course over ground (track) while you are moving. Your present
course over ground is indicated at the top of the compass ring. The
direction of the destination (bearing) relative to the course over
ground is indicated by an arrow in the middle of the compass ring
and a course to steer “bug” on the outside of the compass ring. The
course to steer represents the direction to steer to get back to the
course line.
If the arrow points up, you are going directly to the waypoint. If the
arrow points any direction other than up, turn toward the arrow until
it points up, and then continue in that direction.
NOTE:
You must be moving for the compass to accurately
update and show your heading.
Turning On the Compass Page
The Compass Page is on by default in Marine Mode but off by
default in Automotive Mode.
To show the Compass Page in Automotive Mode:

Highlight the
Display
tab on the Main Menu.
