Solution
Closed defect summary
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0
In a FICON environment, CUP incorrectly handles problem when sent
Unsol Alert Status 0x82, and receives a Selective reset in response.
Continues to retry the Unsol Alert on the same LP that received the Sel
Reset. After Fabric OS Upgrade from 6.2.0e to 6.3.0b, user started
seeing nonstop FICU-1015 error messages on the switches and CUP
appears not to be working. User did
hafailover
on one of the
switches, and error messages stopped.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0
After removal and insertion of the HP StorageWorks Encryption blade,
the
lscfg --show
command shows ASIC not ready errors and FW-
5002 is observed in the internal raslog.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0
After using the
ipaddrset -cp
command to set a host name of CP
blade on any director switch, the standby CP incorrectly displays the
host name of the CP, rather than the chassis host name. For the change
to take effect after firmware upgrade, the user must logout, then log
back in to see the change.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0
If you set
fwsettocustom
, the HP StorageWorks DC SAN Backbone
Director does not output FW-1003/FW-1004 after an
hafailover
or
reboot
, and the user is not notified about temperature over threshold
events.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0
Workaround prior to upgrade:
Issue
cryptocfg --show
-groupcfg
and
cryptocfg
--show -localEE
commands
instead to determine the health of
EG.
In a remote corner case, an IPC failure message appears on one of the
nodes when using the
cryptocfg --show -groupmember -all
command.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0
Intermittent SSH login failure SEC-1193 then SEC-1203, then works
OK.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0
The
systemverification
and
portloopbacktest
diagnostic
tests report marginal blade failures on an HP StorageWorks DC SAN
Director, but after the tests are complete, Fabric Watch reports switch
is healthy.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0
Workaround prior to upgrade:
Disable FICON Tape Emulation.
FICON Tape Emulation aborts from channel due to incorrect CCW
number in generated command retry status for write conv busy sequences
during tape pipelining.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0
Workaround prior to upgrade:
Reboot.
.
[Stress to Fail] Backend ports of 10/24 blade fails to come up during
system verification test.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0
CP fails to boot on DC SAN director, DC04 SAN director, and 8/80
SAN switch on power up or during
hafailover
and CF access error:
HDA: drive not ready message may be seen on the console.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0
Port LED status is not correctly displayed on Web Tools.
