FCoE Login management operations cannot be performed, unless the switch is disabled, until then FCoE Fabric Merge is struck. Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0 Workaround prior to upgrade: To come out of the deadlock: 1. Break the fabric by bringing down the ISL. Both switches will merge and generation number will be rectified (made consistent) with configuration. 2. Bring the ISL back up and merge will go through. Or 1.
