To prepare your printer, follow the instructions given below: CAUTION: It is important that you do not remove the Ink Cartridges and Printheads before moving or storing the printer. 1. Switch the power off at the On/Off power switch on the front of the printer. 2. Disconnect any cables connected to the printer; parallel interface, LAN connection. 3. Repack the printer in its original packaging. Refer to Assembly/Repacking Instructions available on the HP web-site (www.hp.com/go/designjet) for details. 4. If you have to move your printer you will need the original packaging. If necessary you can order a kit of the packaging materials. Contact HP support and they will supply it to you. If necessary they will repackage the printer for you.

Storing and Moving Your Printer
If you need to move your printer or store it for an extended period of time, you need to prepare your printer
properly to avoid possible damage to the printer. To prepare your printer, follow the instructions given below:

It is important that you do not remove the Ink Cartridges and Printheads before moving or
storing the printer.
