Replace the staple cartridge (M681z and M682z models) Introduction The following information provides instructions to replace the staple cartridges. Remove and replace the staple cartridge 1. Open the staple-cartridge door. NOTE: Opening the staple-cartridge door disables the stapler. 2. Grasp the colored tab on the staple cartridge, and then pull the staple cartridge straight out.
