Before removing the hard drive, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 18). 2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 19). 3. Remove the optical drive (see Optical drive on page 23). 4. Remove the front bezel (see Front bezel on page 24). Remove the hard drive: 1. Disconnect the power cable (1) and drive cable (2) from the rear of the hard drive. NOTE: Computer appearance might vary. 2. Press the release lever on the side of the drive cage (1). 3.
