Missing preferences after upgrade from 5.3.0a to 5.4.0 Preference parameters that are set before an upgrade are getting reset or going missing after an upgrade from FM versions 5.3.0a to 5.4.0. Workaround: Select and configure the preference again from the Preferences dialog. Missing preferences after upgrade from 5.2.0 to 5.4.0 (patch) Port groups and switch groups created before an upgrade go missing (are not migrated) after an FM upgrade from version 5.2.0 to 5.4.0 (patch). Workaround: Re-create the desired port and switch groups after the upgrade. Check for web license The check for web license is not performed by FM while adding a license to a switch running FOS 6.0 or earlier. This occurs only if you remove the license and perform any operation before the data collection reoccurs. Workaround: This behavior occurs only for a few seconds until the switch shows an unreachable state in FM. Once the switch goes to the reachable state, the Add License menu item is disabled. FM shows the result as Success even if the operation fails while performing an switch enable/disable or rename when web license is not present in the switch. This occurs only if you remove the license and perform any operation before the data collection reoccurs. Workaround: This behavior occurs only for a few seconds until the switch shows an unreachable state in FM. Once the switch goes to the reachable state, the Add License menu item is disabled. Configuring a secure tunnel in IPv6 FM allows you to configure an IPv6 secure tunnel. Use only an IPv4 secure tunnel; the IPv6 secure tunnel is not supported. Displaying all devices in a large fabric In Fabric view, when trying to display all devices in a large fabric, numerous information messages are displayed and the client becomes non-responsive. Workaround: In a large environment (more than 50 devices available), do not click the Show All Devices/Target menu. Select individual devices from the Section panel instead. FM fails to display more than 49 switches in Fabric view. Workaround: You can view only 49 switches at one time. If you want to view a specific switch, uncheck another switch and check the desired switch. 20
