NOTE: With FR4-18i blade installed, you must use Fabric OS 5.1.0 or later. With FC4-48 you must use Fabric OS 5.2.0 or later. With FC4-16IP you must use Fabric OS 5.2.1b or later. With the FC10-6 blade you must use Fabric OS 6.0.0b or later. IMPORTANT: Please consult your specific port blade installation instructions to determine the required Fabric OS version. Enhancements This section summarizes Fabric Manager 5.5 enhancements. New features introduced in Fabric Manager 5.5 The following new software features have been added to this release: • IOD Delay configuration • Support of EX-Port Configuration on new 8G platforms Installation Installing and upgrading from a previous Fabric Manager version You can upgrade to Fabric Manager 5.5 only from versions 5.3.x and 5.4.x (HP never released or supported version 5.4.0). All configuration data is migrated to 5.5. Upgrading Fabric Manager from 5.3.x or 5.4.x does not require a new Fabric Manager license.
