For Windows users, the recommended way to set up the HP StoreOnce Backup System network is to run the Installation wizard from the HP StoreOnce Backup System CD-ROM. Installation Wizard Even for the experienced user, the Installation Wizard is by far the easiest way to get up and running, particularly if you are configuring the host machine for the first time. If you plan to use iSCSI Virtual Tape Library devices on the StoreOnce Backup System, the Installation Wizard will discover the HP StoreOnce Backup System and also load Tape drivers and create an iSCSI device for you when you run the Installation Wizard on a host machine. Fibre Channel library devices can only be created and configured after installation using the Web Management Interface. If you plan to use only NAS devices on the D2D, then only the Discovery step is required - driver installation and iSCSI setup can be skipped. NOTE: The Installation Wizard will only create an iSCSI Virtual Tape Library device for a particular host once, and only if an iSCSI connection is made. If the Installation Wizard has already been run once on a particular host machine, an additional device will not be created the second time it is run. Additional devices can only be created using the Web Management Interface on the HP StoreOnce Backup System. Installation Wizard
