4. TROUBLE SHOOTING Checking Flow SETTING : After initialize Agilent 8960, Test EGSM, DCS, PCS mode START No Voltage across C120 is about 2.5V? MIC Bias Voltage Yes Check the signal level at each side of MIC201. Is it a few tens mVAC? Yes Check the soldering of R206, R208, C208 Yes Change Main board. Voltage VMIC of U101 is about 2.5V? Yes Resolder R202 & R203. No No Replace U101. Replace the microphone No Resolder R206, R208, C208 MIC will work properly. - 94 -

Replace U101.

of U101
is about 2.5V?
Resolder R202 & R203.
