16 The Basics Installing the Battery and microSD Card NOTE It is important to fully charge the battery before initial use of the phone. Installing the battery The phone comes with a rechargeable battery. Keep the battery charged while not in use in order to maximize talk, use, and standby time. Calls Voice Dialer You can use the Voice Dialer application to place a phone call by speaking the name of a contact or a phone number. To place a call by speaking 1.
