Installing the ThinkPad Configuration Program for Windows 98 To install the ThinkPad Configuration program for Windows 98: 1 Start Windows 98. 2 Insert the Utility Diskette for Windows 98 into the diskette drive. 3 Click on Start. 4 Click on Run.... 5 Type A:\SETUP and click on OK. Follow the instructions on the screen. After the installation is finished, restart the system. Installing the Display Driver for Windows 98 To install the ThinkPad display driver for Windows 98: 1 Start Windows 98. 2 Click on Start. 3 Move the cursor to Settings; then click on Control Panel. 4 Double-click on the Display icon; then click on the Settings tab. 5 Click on Advanced.... 6 Click on the Adapter tab. 7 Click on Change.... The "Update Device Driver Wizard" runs. 8 Click on Next. 9 Select Search for a better driver than the one your device is using now. (Recommended) by clicking on it. To install the ThinkPad Configuration program for Windows 98:

Start Windows 98.

Insert the Utility Diskette for Windows 98 into the diskette drive.
