Understanding printer menus 170 Use To Factory Defaults Do Not Restore Restore Now Return the printer settings to the factory default settings. Notes: • Do Not Restore is the factory default setting. This keeps the user‑defined settings. • Restore Now returns all printer settings to the factory default settings except Network/Ports menu settings. All downloads stored in RAM are deleted. Downloads stored in flash memory or on a printer hard disk are not affected. Flash Drive menu Note: This menu appears only in touch‑screen printer models. Use To Copies 1-999 Paper Source Tray [x] MP Feeder Manual Paper Manual Envelope Specify a default number of copies for each print job. Note: 1 is the factory default setting. Set a default paper source for all print jobs. Note: Tray 1 (standard tray) is the factory default setting. Color Color Black Only Generate color outputs. Note: Color is the factory default setting. Collate Off (1,1,1,2,2,2) On (1,2,1,2,1,2) Sides (Duplex) 1 sided 2 sided Stack the pages of a print job in sequence when printing multiple copies. Note: On is the factory default setting.
