When activated, Alarm Control lets you set the number of times that the alarm sounds, while Cartridge Alarm lets you stop printing when a cartridge‑low condition occurs. For each alarm type, select from the following options: Off Single Continuous Notes: • Single is the factory default setting for Alarm Control. This sounds three quick beeps. • Off is the factory default setting for Cartridge Alarm and Staple Alarm. This means no alarm will sound. • Continuous repeats three beeps every 10 seconds. Specify the number of minutes of inactivity before the printer enters a lower power state. Note: 15 is the factory default setting. Set the amount of time in minutes the printer waits after a job is printed before it goes into a reduced power state. Notes: • 30 is the factory default setting. • Lower settings conserve more energy, but may require longer warm‑up times. • Select the lowest setting if the printer shares an electrical circuit with room lighting or you notice lights flickering in the room. • Select a high setting if the printer is in constant use. Under most circumstances, this keeps the printer ready to print with minimum warm‑up time. Set the printer to operate at a low power state. Notes: • Disabled is the factory default setting in all countries except in European Union countries and Switzerland. • "3 days" is the factory default setting in European Union countries and Switzerland. Set the printer to Hibernate Timeout even when there is an active Ethernet or phone connection. Note: Do Not Hibernate is the factory default setting.

Set an alarm to sound when the printer requires user intervention.
When activated, Alarm Control lets you set the number of times
that the alarm sounds, while Cartridge Alarm lets you stop printing
when a cartridge

For each alarm type, select from the following options:
