Using Command-Line Options key-edit Use the --key-edit option to make changes to a key. Syntax ebs --key-edit [--add-userid ] [--set-primary-userid ] [--trust ] [--change-passphrase [--new-passphrase ]] [--allow-passphrase-retry] [--add-revoker ] [--add-photoid ] [--remove-userid ] [--remove-photoid ] [--disable] [--enable] [--revoke] [--revoke-sig ] [--remove-sig ] [--remove-subkey ] [--revoke-subkey ] Modifiers --add-photoid Adds a photo ID to the specified key where is the name of the file containing your photo in JPEG format. The standard size for the photo ID is 120 pixels wide by 144 pixels tall. --add-revoker Adds a designated revoker to your key pair. The revoker must be specified by a key ID and the key must be on your keyring. You will need to re-sign your self-signature. --add-userid Adds a new user ID (149 characters, maximum) to an existing keypair. For example, you may wish to add a secondary email address to your key. --allow-passphrase-retry Tells E-Business Server to abort an encryption operation if the user does not specify a passphrase in the original encryption command, or the supplied passphrase is not correct. --change-passphrase Sets a new passphrase for your E-Business Server key. Optionally, you can include --new-passphrase to specify the new passphrase. --disable Disables a key on the keyring. The program prompts for confirmation before disabling the key, unless --force is also specified. --enable Enables a key that was previously disabled. --remove-photoid Removes the photo ID from your key. The program prompts for confirmation of the removal, unless --force is also specified. --remove-sig Removes a signature attached to a key on the keyring where the user ID or key ID specified belongs to the signature you want to remove. --remove-subkey Removes an encryption subkey from an RSA v4 key. If the key ID specified belongs to an RSA v3 key, an error message appears. --remove-userid Removes a specified user ID from your key. For example, if you change jobs and your email address is different, then you should remove the old email address from your key. --revoke Revokes a keypair. --revoke-sig Revokes a signature on a key. --revoke-subkey Revokes an encryption subkey from an RSA v4 key. If the key ID specified belongs to an RSA v3 key, an error message appears. --set-primary-userid Sets a new user ID on a key to be the primary user ID. --trust Specifies the level of trust on a key that bears your signature. You can set one of the following levels of trust: none, marginal, complete or implicit. None indicates no trust. Marginal indicates that you usually trust the owner of the key to act as a trusted introducer. Complete indicates that you fully trust the owner of the key to act as a trusted introducer. Modifiers
key-export
Use the
--key-export
option to export a key from your keyring to a file.
--add-photoid
