Key options Long Option --text --sign --wipe none (Simply don't enter input filename(s) and/or output filename(s).) none (Specify input using long options provided.) --secure-viewer --output --overwrite --preserve-name --detached --sign-with --passphrase Legacy Option -t -s -w -f -i -m -o -p -b -u -z Description Specifies that the plaintext be treated as text instead of binary data; linefeeds will be canonified on encryption and converted to appropriate local-system linefeeds on decryption. Sign the input with your secret key. Automatically overwrite and delete the original plaintext file preventing someone from recovering it. Use Unix-style filter mode to read from standard input and write to standard output Specifies a file containing all the input required by E-Business Server when used in conjunction with full batch mode. On decryption, output displays plaintext output on your screen. On encryption, specifies that the output should be for your eyes only use. When used with other options such as encryption, decryption, checking signatures, and filter mode specifies the output filename. Recovers the original plaintext filename Detach a signature from the file being signed. Applicable for sign operations, but not for encrypt and sign operations. Identifies the key that will be used for the signing operation. Applies to --sign operations or --key-sign operations. Indicates that the text string which follows is your passphrase. A leading space can be used; quotes may be required; quote-escaping may also be required. Keyserver options The --help --keyserver option lists all the key server functions available in E-Business Server. --keyserver is also used in combination with other options. The following table lists and describes these combinations. Deletes a key from the key server. Disables a key on the key server. Fetches a key (or keys) from the key server and imports them to the local keyring. Searches the key server and displays matching keys. Sends keys to the key server. Group options The --help --group option displays a list of group options. The --group option is always used in combination with another option. The following table lists these combinations, describes how they are used, and lists the corresponding legacy options.
