To unlock the screen/smartphone, press Power , or touch Home . Or switch on the smartphone to view the lock screen. Forgot your pattern, PIN, or password? If you make five unsuccessful attempts to enter your lock pattern, you can touch Forgot pattern and enter the Gmail user name and password you set up as your main Gmail account when you registered your device. You will then be able to create a new pattern and unlock your device. If you forget your PIN or password, contact your service provider to have your device factory reset. Warning: A factory reset will delete all data on your smartphone.
