The effects are too subtle to be seen in the camera monitor, but are visible when the picture is viewed on a computer monitor or printed. mode gives you control over the amount of sharpening performed (in Auto H i gh Norma l Low Off MENU OFF SELECT SET and scene modes, the camera adjusts sharpening according to the subject). Option Description Auto Camera sharpens edges for optimal results; adjustment performed differs from image to image. High Image processed to increase sharpness, making edges more distinct.
