Service Guide - C7000 Series Chapter 4 Adjustments Page: 114 4.2.1 Precautions in replacing engine controller board When replacing the engine controller board (71K PWB), remove the EEPROM from the board and mount it on a new board (for errors other than those of engine EEPROM). When the "SERVICE CALL XX" (an engine EEPROM error) message is displayed on the operator panel, the EEPROM must be replaced with new one.
