Adjust the rear level. Press the PARAMETER SELECTOR ► button to select R-SUR. (or L-SUR.) level mode. And, use the PARAMETER CONTROLLER 41 or 10. button to adjust the rear levels. Using the remote controller, press the CH-SEL button to select R-SUR. (or L-SUR.) level mode and use the LEVEL A (up) or V (down) button to adjust the level. 10. Press the PARAMETER SELECTOR button and stop the test tone. Using the remote controller, press the TEST TONE button again. • The selected item is displayed in the display section for live seconds. If the display goes out, you can press the PARAMETER SELECTOR button again. • The adjusted parameter is stored in the memory for the surround mode in which you set it. Setting the Hall and Live surround parameters 1. Use the SURROUND MODE button to select either HALL or LIVE mode. 2. Perform steps 5, 6, and 9 of "Setting the Dolby Pro Logic surround parameters" on page 21. • The test tone function is not provided in this surround mode. Setting the Multi Channel surround parameters 1. Press the MULTI CH INPUT but to put the receiver in MULTI-CH mode. The letters "MULTICH" appear on the display. 2. Perform steps 3, 6, 8. and 9 of "Setting the Dolby Pro Logic surround parameters" on page 21. The level values set in Dolby Pro Logic mode will be applied to Multi Channels. Changing the level values in Multi Channel mode, however, will not affect any settings for Dolby Pro Logic mode.
