English Display Panel 17 VCR light This light appears when the DVD/VCR is in VCR mode. You can only watch videotapes or access VCR features when VCR light is on. To make VCR light come on, press VCR on the remote control or SOURCE on the front of the DVD/VCR. Cassette Compartment Insert a video cassette here. CD Displays the elapsed time of the title or track. The number of a new title, chapter, or track is displayed for 3 seconds when a chapter or track is switched, or DISPLAY is pressed during playback. Appears during disc playback. Appears when Progressive Scan is active. Displays the current disc type. • DVD: DVD • CD: Audio CD, MP3, Windows MediaTM Audio, JPEG VCR Display Panel Indicates a tape is in the DVD/VCR. Appears during playback when the Auto Repeat function is on. Appears if tape playback is paused. Appears during Slow Motion Playback. Appears during tape playback. Display Messages Appears when an OTR,Timer Recording, or Satellite Link has been set. Appears during recording; REC flashes when recording is paused. PM Indicates current time is P.M. There is no A.M. indication. Indicates the elapsed playing time of a tape; also displays a selected external input channel, tape speed, remaining time for an OTR or the current time. Appears after the disc tray closes if the tray is empty, if there is an error reading the disc, or if an unacceptable disc is installed. Tray is opening or is open. Tray is closing. Disc is loading.
