Troubleshooting Before contacting a Samsung authorised service center, perform the following simple checks. They may save you the time and expense of an unnecessary call. WARNING INDICATORS AND MESSAGES Problems may occur because of the following reasons. Check the information and take corrective action. Battery Message Low Battery Icon Informs that... - The battery is almost discharged. Check authenticity of the battery. - The battery cannot pass authenticity check. Action • Replace with a charged battery or connect the AC power adaptor. • Check whether the battery is authentic. If not, change to an authentic Samsung battery. • We recommend you use only genuine Samsung batteries in this camcorder. Storage media Message Insert Card Card Full Card Locked Card Error Icon Informs that... Action There is no memory card inserted in the memory card slot. • Insert a memory card. • Delete unnecessary files from the memory card. There is not enough space to record on the memory card. • • Back-up files to a PC or another storage media, and then delete unneeded files. Replace the memory card with another card that has enough free space. The write protection tab on an SD or SDHC card has been set to lock. • Release the write protection tab. The memory card has a problem and the camcorder cannot recognize it. • Replace the memory card with another card. 93
