Phone Settings Silence: the ring tone is silenced when you hold down one of the volume keys; the call is not rejected. Fax Mode (Menu 4.7) You can use your phone as a modem for faxing when it is connected to computing devices. You need to purchase a data kit from your local Samsung dealer. In this menu, you can enable the fax mode on your phone. The following options are available: Off: you can send or receive data calls. On: you can send or receive fax calls. In any case you can send or receive voice calls. After connecting the phone to your computing device using the data cable and set this menu to On. Your phone works as a fax modem. For further details about setting and faxing through the phone on your computer, see the computers user's manual. Phone Settings Reset Settings (Menu 4.8) This menu option allows you to reset your phone to its default configuration. You can reset the sound settings, phone settings or all of the settings together. When you are asked to confirm your choice, press the Yes soft key.
