ALS (Alternate Line Service) Capability of associating two lines with one SIM card. With this service, you can make and receive calls on either line, as required. Call Barring Ability to restrict outgoing and incoming calls. Call Diverting Ability to reroute calls to another number. Call Holding Ability to put one call on standby while answering or making another call; you can then switch between the two calls, as required. GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) International standard for cellular communication, guaranteeing compatibility between the various network operators. GSM covers most European countries and many other parts of the world. IrDA (Infrared Data Association) A standard defined by the IrDA consortium. It specifies a way to wirelessly transfer data via infrared radiation. The IrDA specifications include standards for both the physical devices and the protocols they use to communicate with each other.
