Section 2 - Replacing the Split Cable (Servo, Speed and Resistance) Assembly Note: The Split Cable Assembly has a single connector on one end that connects to the Sensor Hub, with the other end having three cable connectors. The three connectors go to the Servo Motor, Speed Sensor, and Resistance Sensor. Note: All Shrouds have been removed for clarity. Make sure that power to the machine is disconnected before beginning this step. Sensor Hub 1. Carefully disconnect the old Split Cable Assembly Connector from the Sensor Hub. NOTICE: D o not pinch or cut the cables. 2. Connect the single connector on the end of the new Split Cable Assembly to the Sensor Hub. NOTICE: D o not pinch or cut the cables. Split Cable Assembly (Servo, Speed and Resistance) Connector 3. Carefully disconnect the Servo Motor Cable Connector. NOTICE: D o not pinch or cut the cables. 4. Route the appropriate cable end of the new Split Cable Assembly to the Servo Motor Connector, and connect it. NOTICE: D o not pinch or cut the cables. Note:
The Split Cable Assembly has a single connector on
one end that connects to the Sensor Hub, with the
other end having three cable connectors. The three
connectors go to the Servo Motor, Speed Sensor, and
Resistance Sensor.
Note:
All Shrouds have been removed for clarity.
Make sure that power to the machine is discon-
nected before beginning this step.
1.
Carefully disconnect the old Split Cable Assembly
Connector from the Sensor Hub.
NOTICE:
Do not pinch or cut the cables.
2.
Connect the single connector on the end of the new Split
Cable Assembly to the Sensor Hub.
NOTICE:
Do not pinch or cut the cables.

3.
Carefully disconnect the Servo Motor Cable
Connector.
NOTICE:
Do not pinch or cut the cables.
4.
Route the appropriate cable end of the new Split
Cable Assembly to the Servo Motor Connector, and
connect it.
