REMOVING THE OVEN DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY WARNING ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD Disconnect power before servicing. Replace all panels before operating. Failure to do so could result in death or electrical shock. 3. Open the oven door and remove the two front oven door latch mounting screws from the air vent. Oven Door Latch Assembly CAUTION: When you work on the built-in oven, be careful when handling the sheet metal parts. Sharp edges may be present, and you can cut yourself if you are not careful. 1. Disconnect the electrical power to the oven. 2. Remove the control panel from the oven (see page 4-2, steps 1 through 6 for the procedure). Air Vent 2 Air Vent Screws 4. Remove the wires from the terminals of the solenoid and the latch and door switches. Solenoid Latch Switch Door Switch 2 Top Screws 5. Remove the two top screws from the oven door latch assembly and remove the assembly. 4-7
