Chapter 4 Tutorials 4.2.1 Push Button Configuration (PBC) 1 Make sure that your Zyxel Device is turned on. Make sure the wireless LAN is turned on by pressing the WiFi/WPS button for two seconds, and that the device is placed within range of your notebook . For more information about WiFi/WPS settings, see Section 1.5.3 on page 18. 2 WPS is enabled by default on the Zyxel Device. If not, log into the Zyxel Device's Web Configurator and press the Push Button in the Configuration > Network Setting > Wireless > WPS screen. You can either press the WPS button on the Zyxel Device's top/side panel or press WPS in the screen. 3 Go to your phone settings and turn on WiFi. Open the WiFi networks list and tap WPS Push Button or the WPS icon ( ). Note: It doesn't matter which button is pressed first. You must press the second button within two minutes of pressing the first one. The Zyxel Device sends the proper configuration settings to the wireless client. This may take up to two minutes. Then the wireless client is able to communicate with the Zyxel Device securely. The following figure shows you an example to set up wireless network and security by pressing a button on both Zyxel Device and wireless client (the Android smartphone in this example). Push Button Configuration (PBC)

Make sure that your Zyxel Device is turned on. Make sure the wireless LAN is turned on by pressing the
WiFi/WPS
button for two seconds, and that the device is placed within range of your notebook . For

WPS is enabled by default on the Zyxel Device. If not, log into the Zyxel Device’s Web Configurator and
press the
Push Button
in the
Configuration > Network Setting > Wireless > WPS
screen. You can either
press the WPS button on the Zyxel Device’s top/side panel or press
